Betty Ann Holder

Betty Ann Holder (n'ee Ogburn), age 75, of Sparta passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was married for 57 years to the love of her life, Jimmy.  Her second love was her son Todd who she enjoyed watching train and compete quarter horses.  Betty Ann had a passion for farming and fishing with her family.  For this farmer her worries are over, she now can lie down and rest her sweet head.  Betty Ann was a wonderful person that our world needs more of. She leaves her little corner of the world a bit brighter. Hers was a life well lived.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Holder; son, Todd Holder (Kelsey); sister, Val Kenner (Larry). She is also mourned by her sisters in law, Debbie Smith (John) and Connie Clifton (Lewis) as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.  She was truly loved by so many.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Kathryn Ogburn; sister, Joan Ewing and her infant brother, Dennis.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Main Street location.  Visitation will begin at 11 am.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
