Betty Forsee

Okeechobee – Betty Forsee died May 16, 2015. She was born March 14, 1927 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Foster and Fannie Smith. She came to Okeechobee from Owenton, Kentucky in 1957. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Okeechobee. Her kindness toward children was evident especially during the Halloween season. Mrs. Forsee is survived by her husband of 65 years, Oswald Forsee; three siblings, Ann Furnish of Kentucky, Foster Smith, Jr. of Kentucky and Elaine Massie of Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; caregivers, Beverly Willis and Judy Davis. Local arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. A graveside service will be held in the Owenton Cemetery at 1pm Wednesday, June 3rd with Bro. Jesse Bourne presiding.
