Mrs. Helen "Beatrice" Sipple, age 86, of Frankfort passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at her residence. Born March 25, 1929, in Gallatin County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Parthenia Johnson Perkins and the widow of Milford Sipple, Sr. Also preceding her in death were her granddaughter, Stephanie Beverly and her siblings, Buddy and Jess Perkins and Betty Adams. Beatrice worked as a clerk, for many years, at Saveway Supermarket and was a member of the Owenton First Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, Milford (Anita) Sipple, Jr. of Owenton; her daughters, Linda (Carl) Hess of Georgetown, Peggy (Kenny) Abrams of Frankfort and Sherry (Keith) Shelburne of Millersburg; four sisters, Margie Greene, Virginia "Jenny" Hughes, Juanite (Robert) Chilton and Dorothy "Dottie" Duvall; Seven grandchildren, Kimberly (Anthony) Murray, Ashley (Bernie) Elam, Jeff (Bethany) Abrams, Kelly (Barrett) Brown, Stacey (James) Long, Susan ( Lonnie) Perkins and Robbyn (Jason) Wainscott. Eleven great grandchildren also survive as well as a host of extended family. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, June 26th from 10am until 2pm, Funeral services will be held at 2pm. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
