Barbara J. Brown Watson

Barbara J. Brown Watson, age 80, of Monterey passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at her residence. Born February 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Tommie Edward and Anna Elizabeth Stephens Johnson and was the widow of William H. Brown and Stuart J. Watson. She was a retried records keeper and respiratory therapist. Surviving are her son, Sandy Brown; step son, David Watson; daughters, Jeanette Mccormick and Cindy Walters; step daughters, Sharon Smith, Christine Watson and Michelle Watson; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at Mrs. Watson's home located at 2600 Claxon Ridge Road (Hwy #607) in Monterey. Services will be held on Saturday, September 21st, beginning at 2pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
