Barbara Sue Roberts

Barbara Sue Kinman Roberts, age 66, of New Liberty passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at her home.

Born February 2, 1954, in Gallatin County, she was the daughter of the late James and Katherine Stamper Kinman.  She was preceded in death by her son Joseph Roberts and her sister Patricia Marksberry. She was an operations manager for Kenan Advantage Group for over 20 years and a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. Barbara was devoted to her family, loved hosting holidays, cooking, and entertaining. Her family will miss her being the 'family boss' and keeping everyone organized.  She also enjoyed country music, watching westerns, and traveling.

Barbara had just celebrated her 41st wedding anniversary with her surviving husband, Ford Roberts, Sr.; she is also survived by her children, Lorrene (Bobby) Garvin, Ford (Rene') Roberts, Camille Souza, Angie (Kurt) Roberts, Billy (Courtney) Roberts, John Roberts and Andrew (Jessica) Roberts; her sister-in-law, who will miss their daily phone calls, Martha Goodrich; her eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at Dallasburg Baptist Church on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 2 pm with Bro. Jeff Combs officiating. The church will be open for visitation at Noon. Memorial contributions are suggested to Braylee's Miracle Squad to benefit March of Dimes.
