Barbara Barnes

Barbara Barnes, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 70. She was born on October 16, 1955, in Denver, Colorado. Barbara lived a life full of joy, love, and vibrant connections with the people around her.

Throughout her life, Barbara developed a deep passion for gardening and flowers, which brought her immense joy and beauty to her home. Her skill in crafting cut-n-curl candles showcased her creativity and dedication to her hobbies. An avid fan of entertainment, she thoroughly enjoyed playing Vegas video poker.

Barbara is survived by her cherished children, Christopher (Kim) Barnes, Elizabeth Barnes, and Jason (Jessica) Barnes. She found immense happiness in her role as a grandmother to Jacob, Alysa, Gage, Gracie, Brenna, and Capri Barnes, who were deeply loved by their grandmother. Barbara also leaves behind her dear siblings, Beverly (Donnie) Brown and Bruce (Laura) Dulong, who shared many fond memories and laughter with her throughout the years.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Souder, with whom she shared a close bond. Barbara’s spirit and legacy will continue to resonate through the lives she touched and the memories she created.

Barbara’s family and friends will forever remember her radiant smile, generous heart, and the countless moments of joy she brought into their lives. She will be missed dearly but remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
