Audrey Mae Mcdonald

Audrey Mae McDonald, 74, passed away July 24, 2024 at the Owenton Manor. She was born in Carroll County the daughter of the late Clarence and Helena Crawford Raisor. She was also preceded by her husband, Rastus McDonald and her brother, Charlie Raisor. She graduated from Owen County High and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Audrey worked as a grocery clerk most of her life. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years along with dancing, playing cards, bingo and cooking. She also loved farming. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Ron) Dickow and Lisa Hearn, one sister, Ernestine House, one brother, Ronnie (Karen) Raisor, four grandchildren, Steven and Shawn Hemingway, Ashley McDonald (Willie Humphrey) and Wesley McDonald (Amy) and ten great grandchildren. Also surviving are two step-sons, Don (Jackie) McDonald and Charles (Cindy) McDonald and four step grandchildren, Brian Scott McDonald, Brooke (Royce) Yeager, Brittany (Juanca) Moran and Jeffrey (Allie) Dickow. Visitation will be on Monday July 29 from Noon til 3PM with the funeral starting at 3PM at the Main Street location of New Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Monterey Cemetery.
