Audrey Greenfield

Audrey Greenfield, age 83, of Owenton, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Grant Center in Williamstown. Born July 31, 1932 in Redburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Roxie Smith Root and was preceded in death by her children, Carolyn and Kenneth Hammons, Jimmy, Barbara and Michael Riley and her brother, Charlie Root. Audrey was a retired home health care nurse and attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, quilting and reading her Bible. Surviving are her children, Donna Adkins, Dave (Anna Creech) Riley and Kathy Gruber; her siblings, Carl and Clayton Root, Betty Malone and Dorothy Bailey; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
