Arvin Gibson "Bud" Epperson

Arvin "Bud" Epperson, 93, passed away Monday in Frankfort. He was born in Owen County the son of the late James Allen and Sarah Webster Epperson. He was also preceded by his wife Mary Belle, a grandson Jared Epperson, three brothers and one sister. Bud was a member of the Lusby's Mill Baptist Church and graduated from the New Liberty High School. He was a lifelong farmer and spent 40 years as floor manager of Bright Light #1 in Carrollton. He was Lusby's Mill oldest resident at his passing. He enjoyed wildlife and birds but his main love was his farm. He is survived by his four children, Jerry Epperson, Barbara (Esco) Bowman, Beth Ann Rangel (Johnny Gibson) and Chad (Barbara) Epperson, six grandchildren, Andrew (Julie) Epperson, Derrick (Tiffany) Epperson, Adam Manns (Arien Champion), Autumn Minch, Blake Epperson (Courtney Bramblett) and Destinee Epperson (Kylee Hammann), eleven great grandchildren, Chloe and Willow Rain Epperson, Devan Champion, Tayonna, Elias, and Emery Manns, Landen Thomason, Sadie Belle, Raylan, Lucas and Kaylee Epperson Visitation is Thursday July 25 from 11 - 2 at the the Main Street location with the funeral starting at 2. Burial will follow in the Owenton Cemetery and memorials may be made to the Mussel Shoals Preservation Foundation.
