Arthur Poland

Arthur Poland, 84 died Sunday. He was the son of the late Jesse and Hallie Berkley Poland. He was the husband of the late Marie Osborne Poland. He was a member of the Warsaw Christian Church, a WWII Army Veteran and was fuel driver for Gulf Oil for 25 years. He is survived by his son; Edward D. Poland of Florence, KY, two daughters; Judith Poland McGuire of Walton, KY., and Janet Poland Osterbrook of Inderpendence,KY. Two brothers; Henry Poland of Cummins, GA., Curtis Gullion of Dothan, GA. One sister; Bertha Ogden of Owenton. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8pm. Burial will be in the Glencoe Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Warsaw Christian Church.
