Annie B Cook

Annie B. Cook, age 99, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at her home.

Born December 6, 1922, in Owen County she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Eliza Cook Wright.  She was the oldest member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, a homemaker. She was the widow of Chester Lee Cook, they were married for over 56 years.  She was also preceded in death by her children, Wanda J. (Freddy) Hobbs, Carrie J. (the Late Tom) Taylor, and Paul E. Cook.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Bonnie) Cook of Owenton, Rose (Dennis) Spaulding of Frankfort, Anna Mae Cook of Owenton, Mary (the late Dale) Moore of Owenton. Annie also has 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and 3 step grandchildren.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the MAIN STREET location on Monday, September 19, 2022 from Noon to 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
