Anna Mae Turpin

Anna Mae Turpin, age 69, of Owenton, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, at the University of Kentucky Hospital.Born December 22, 1948, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Edna Baker Giles.  Anna Mae was a former certified nursing assistant at the Owenton Manor and enjoyed quilting, knitting, and crocheting.  She also enjoyed listening to old music.She is survived by her daughters, Penny (Roy) Allen and Lois (Kevin) Worthington; her grandsons, Clint Glass and Aaron Worthington and her sisters, Gracie (Bob) Brewer and Linda (Danny) Lillard.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 1- 2 pm.  A memorial service will follow at 2 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.
