Anna Lee Prather

Anna Lee Raisor Prather, 81 of Owenton passed away on Monday at the Owenton Manor. Born January 1, 1933, in Versailles, KY, she was the daughter of the late Evan and Icie Herrell Raisor and was the widow of the Curtis William Prather. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harvey, Clarence, and Harold Raisor and two sisters, Christine Hardin and Minnie Raisor. She is survived by her three sons, Jerry W. Prather, Curtis D. Prather, and Teddy W. Prather all of Owenton; five daughters, Diane Clifton of Glencoe, Wanda F. Prather of Henry County, Janet L. Maddox of Henry County, Penny Hemmingway of Owenton and Mary Chandler of Henry County. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 10am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.
