Ann Carolyn Wainscott

Ann Carolyn Wainscott, 67, of Owenton, passed away Monday, May 3rd at the Owenton Manor. Born June 19, 1942, in Owenton, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Minerva Wainscott and was preceded in death by her brothers, Herbert Jr. and John Wainscott and her sister Florence Popp. She is survived by five sisters, Mary Keefe of Louisville, Emma McFarland of Bowling Green; Alma (J.V.) Perkins of Owenton, Alice (Mike) Staser of Lexington, IN, Ruby (Don) Ellis of Owenton. A special sister-in-law, Bernnie Wainscott, brother-in-law Jim Popp and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Friday, May 7th, from 11-2pm. Funeral services will be follow at 2pm with Bro. Jesse Bourne officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
