Anita Garner

Anita Sears Garner, 69 and a resident of Sanders, passed away Wednesday, September 29th, at her home. Born August 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Sears and Leona Barnes. Anita worked as a nurse’s aide at the Gallatin Health Care Center. She is survived by three sons: Donald Garner of Sanders, Roger Garner of Erlanger and Elmer Harvey Garner of Sanders; one daughter: Nanette Coffey of Knoxville, TN; two sisters: Dolly Mattingly of Springboro, OH and Nancy Moore of Colorado; and one brother: Delbert Thomas. No services are scheduled at this time. Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
