Alma Jean Minch

Alma Jean Minch, age 84, gained her wings on March 6, 2023.

She was born in Henry County the daughter of the late Oldham and Vernon Holmes Dunaway. She was also preceded by her husband of 42 years, Eddie Minch and her sister, Geraldine Burnett. She was a member of Squiresville Baptist Church, was a homemaker and worked for many years as a dental assistant. She loved her grandchildren, was a wonderful cook, enjoyed her flowers and mowing and also had a love for music and playing piano. She was always very helpful despite her physical limitations.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Mark) Cobb and Donita Chandler, three grandchildren, Jennifer Trusty (Tom Isaacs), Brian Trusty (Savanna) and David Cobb, seven great grandchildren, Dylan Isaacs (Briannah), Leigha and Kyndal Isaacs, Korbin, Emmie Jean, Bree and Kaden, four great-great grandchildren, Addison, Olivia, Zaden and Zander, her sister, Billie Marcum along with several nieces and nephews.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be held at the Main Street location on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm with a graveside service to follow in the Owenton Cemetery with Bro. Craig Howard presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Squiresville Baptist or Owen County Children's Fund.
