Alice Francis Riley

Alice Francis Riley, age 72 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Friday, February 27th, at the St. Luke Hospital in Florence. Alice was the widow of the late Johnny Riley and daughter of the late William and Birdie Combs Mercer. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Claudie and Lee Mercer; and one sister: Addie Duncan. Ms. Riley is survived by four sons: Billy Tuel of Ghent, James Tuel of Warsaw, John Riley of Carrollton, and Bobby Riley of Glencoe, four daughters: Nancy Canup and Angie Grimsley both of Georgia, Jennifer Stockton and Tracy Rich both of Warsaw; and one sister: Cora Russell of Madison, In. Nineteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 1st, from 5 until 8pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin Monday at 11am. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
