Alice Frances Mcmanama

Alice Frances McManama, age 83, of Owenton passed away, Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Owenton Manor. Born January 8, 1930, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Alma Rice Riddle and was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Souder. Mrs. McManama was retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company after 37 years of service and was a member of the Owenton First Baptist Church. Surviving are her step-son, Gary McManama of Fountain Run; her brother, Billy Ray (Freda) Riddle of Jacksonville, FL and her sisters, Ina Prather and Betty Carver of Owenton and her uncle, Ralph Rice. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, May 8th from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Brad Banks and Bro. Jesse Bourne presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owenton First Baptist Church.
