Addie M. Ferrell

Addie M. Ferrell, 81, of Perry Park, passed away Thursday, January 7th at the Carroll County Hospital. Born February 27, 1928, in Muncie, IN, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Leona Littrell Hammond and was preceded in death by her first husband, Bennie Breeden and infant children, Donna Jean and Rocky Wayne Breeden. Mrs. Ferrell was retired from the Owen County School Systems where she worked in the Food Service Department of the Elementary School. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Harold of Bedford, daughters, Kathy Allen and Teresa Hunt of Perry Park; two sons, Earl Breeden of Crestwood and Roger Breeden of Bowling Green; two brothers, Elmer Hammond of Perry Park and Delbert Hammond of Williamstown and one sister Jean Jones of Frankfort. Seven grandchildren, Natasha, Christopher and Tori Allen, Shane Breeden, Aaron and Dakota Hunt and Lisa Breeden and three great grandchildren, Ayden, Adyson and Ellie also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Monday, January 11th, from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday with Bro. Frank McGee officiating. Burial will be in the Squiresville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
