Joseph Humble

Joseph Humble, a Sugar Bay resident, passed away Monday at his residence at the age of 74. He was born in Owen County the son of the late Lafe and Lucy Lucas Humble. Also preceding him were two brothers Oscar and John Humble. Joe was a carpenter and an Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Sally Hudson Humble of Sugar Bay, four sons, Butch Humble of San Bernadino, CA, Glen Humble of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Tom Humble of Redlands, CA and Lafe Humble of Owenton, two daughters, Denise Humble of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Jeannine Humble of Sugar Bay, one brother, Ed Humble of Carrollton, one sister, Pauline New of Carrollton, also surviving are two children in heart, Curtis and Gwen Sutton and their families. Seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be from 4 to 8PM on Wednesday and the funeral at 11AM Thursday at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery.
